SOHO Server Plus
All-in-one network appliance that combines secure Internet access and network attached storage into a single device designed specifically for the home or small business.
The INTELLINET NETWORK SOLUTIONS SOHO Server Plus allows multiple users on a network to access the Internet and share files, even if their computers are running dissimilar operating systems. So if your roommate or fellow office workers are working on a MAC while you are working on a Windows XP machine, you can still share common files needed to run your business or complete your school project.
All-in-One Solution
The SOHO Server Plus combines the back-office and server needs of a small- to medium-sized office/home into an inexpensive all-in-one solution. Get rid of the multiple devices that each require power receptacles, maintenance contracts and software-version management, and use the SOHO Server Plus instead: one device that includes all the functions needed to connect to the network and share files and other resources among multiple users.
Data Backup
The SOHO Server Plus supports disk mirroring (RAID Level 1) and allows your users to back up their critical files cost effectively. There is no need for an additional server to be designated as the backup server since the SOHO Server Plus is capable of supporting up to four external USB storage devices as well as two internal hard drives. Rest easy knowing that your data is backed up and easily accessible in the unlikely event of a disk failure on one of your computers.
Additional Data Storage
Use the SOHO Server Plus to offload your storage requirements and avoid hard-drive upgrades on individual computers across your company. Storage-intensive files can be stored on the SOHO Server Plus, freeing up disk space on your users’ computers, keeping disk utilization at optimum levels, and providing the user with ideal performance.
Network Security
Target downloads to a drive on the SOHO Server Plus, minimizing the risk associated with downloading a virus, worm or other threat to one of your users’ computers.
